Bianca Marentes

Bianca Marentes grew up in Pico Rivera, California, with her mother, grandmother, and aunt. Her grandmother and great-uncle both had a significant impact on her life.

Her grandmother was a confidant, mentor, and person who showed up no matter what. Her grandmother always said that if something were not challenging, she would not enjoy it. Bianca performed best under pressure and has always been an innovative thinker.

In undergrad, Bianca decided she wanted to become a lawyer. Her great-uncle taught her to think outside the box and that there is always more than what meets the eye. He helped her work on political theory concepts, leading Bianca to further her law knowledge to help people.

After graduating from California State University Los Angeles with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Women’s Studies, Bianca successfully completed the Paralegal Program at UCLA Extension.

She worked in Litigation for Bed Bug Law, where she started doing intakes, worked her way up to managing intakes, and then transitioned into Paralegal dealing primarily in Discovery. Bianca moved to Sacramento in 2019, where she continued gaining experience in the law field. She then began working for an estate planning and trust administration firm, where she worked as a trust administration paralegal.

Bianca was recruited to join Arnold Law Firm in January 2023 as a Paralegal for the Data breach and Qui Tam team. She enjoys the company’s culture and values and its extensive involvement with the community. She is currently taking a break from law school but will return soon. She is excited to continue learning and preparing for her future as a lawyer.

In her free time, Bianca enjoys being active. She frequently hikes, kayaks, runs, and does yoga. She also writes poetry and spends time with her dog, Lotus.
